We provide a comprehensive range of services, including global custody and depositary banking, accounting, transfer agency and a wide array of value added services, and cover all asset classes in UCITS and alternatives.  Our experts are actively engaged with both the Association of Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), and involved in discussions that are shaping the future of the industry.


We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Paralegal to join our Luxembourg Legal team. This role is located in Luxembourg

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Prepare and process draft legal documents across bank customers, corporate secretarial, subsidiaries, business committees, regulators and outside counsel engagements 
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of briefs, motions, contracts, legal opinions, court filings and fund documentation, and perform fact-finding and legal/regulatory research under guidance
  • Compile information from various bank sources to draft responses, maintain electronic documents, template databases and internal knowledge repositories
  • Proactively engage with global legal teams to standardize templates, drive seamless contract or regulatory implementation and support outside-counsel engagements
  • Leverage bank technology tools (including AI) to automate and enhance legal workflows 
  • Manage the Luxembourg Legal group tasks—allocating matters, escalating urgent issues—and progressively take on complex tasks and client-interface responsibilities (onboarding, credit, risk and compliance)

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

Knowledge and experience:

  • Relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of legal principles and research
  • Experience in financial services and familiarity with UK/European regulatory frameworks
  • Fluent in English and French; proficiency in German or another European language is an asset
  • Experience in leveraging technology tools (such as AI) for the automation of legal tasks will be an asset

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills—clear verbal drafting, strong written output and confident presentations
  • Outstanding organization, project-planning, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Resilient under pressure, able to manage stress and prioritize competing deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in MS Outlook (categories, folders), Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Word; experience with GPTs (such as Copilot) and prompting; Outlook shared mailboxes, and other IT tools will be an asset.
